At Beachside Villas, you can enjoy several acres of stunning white sandy beaches and 1,200 feet of nearby coastline. Our private shuttle runs daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (mid-March to October), connecting you to Eastern Lake Public Beach and Walton Dunes Public Beach (with chair rentals). Plus, Walton County’s entire coastline is open to the public for walking, jogging, swimming, and surfing. You’ll find two beach accesses within walking distance-one at the south end of our complex (Sugar Dunes Boardwalk - refer to usage map below) and another at the end of San Roy Road, leading to a beautiful 2-acre public beach near the rare coastal dune lake, Eastern Lake. Call 850.399.1201 for pickup or meet the shuttle at the designated pickup area.

Relax in our two pools (one heated seasonally), and enjoy tennis and pickleball courts, plus shuffleboard. Amenity bracelets in your unit grant access to pools, courts, restrooms, and the shuttle-please ensure everyone (except children under 13) wears them. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult in pool areas and on the beach shuttle.

For extra fun, rent paddle boards, bikes or golf carts using our preferred vendor links below. Please register any personal bikes at the office and avoid outside vendors, as unauthorized bikes or carts may be removed from the property.

Walton County Beach Rules

Violation of beach rules may result in fines or penalties per Walton County municipal code.

• Leave No Trace. Overnight, unattended items will be removed.
• Fill in holes dug in sand. Holes cannot be larger than 3 feet x 3 feet and no deeper than 2 feet. Holes cannot be left unattended.
• No metal shovels allowed. Large holes create dangerous situations for beachgoers and marine life
• Glass Containers, camping and charcoal grills are prohibited (Propane grills must be smaller than 225 sq. inches)
• Vehicles, dogs and fires all require permits
• Solicitation prohibited
• Stay off dunes
• Removal of vegetation, sand or Gulf water prohibited
• Please allow a 15 ft setback from dunes and water’s edge for emergency vehicles
• To prevent crowding, tents larger than 10'x10' are prohibited, and all tents are limited to the top 1/2 of open beach. 4ft walkway between tents.
• No littering, nudity, or excessive noise
